Joanne is from a very musical family and from a very early age was singing and dancing on stage.

Joanne trained as a dancer in ballet, tap, modern and jazz. She has a passion for dance and this has played a big part of her life. She has choreographed numerous shows throughout her career. Joanne also studied piano from the age 10 and gained her grade 7.

Joanne studied theory of music and passed all her singing exams with the ABRSM. She began singing professionally from the age of 15 alongside her brother and sister who are also musicians.

Having worked as a professional singer for over 20 years and vocal tutor since 2004, Joanne’s teaching career has escalated at an alarming rate and she is now responsible for teaching over 100 individuals, school choirs and is also the principle at StagePro Academy stage school in Warrington.

Joanne loves teaching and passing on her wide knowledge of singing and performing to all her students, especially the yearly showcases so that all her students get the opportunity to sing in front of their friends and families in what has now become the focal point of all students. Not only is this a fantastic evening for all involved but at the same time all the proceeds of the showcase evening goes to Cancer Research Charity.
